The Kodak i40 Document Scanner is aimed at a wide range of businesses from small offices to large organisations with the need to scan documents within a document management, archiving or workflow solution.

KODAK Capture Software, Lite, installs in minutes and offers a range of scanning features for practically any workgroup application. Easily upgradeable to the full version of Capture Software. READIRIS Pro 8 Corporate Edition provides key functions for locating textual information fast, including multi-page optical character recognition (OCR) and direct scanning to searchable PDF files.

• The Kodak i40 Document Scanner allows scanning of both sides of a document simultaneously (duplex) with up to 50ipm in mono and colour.
• An automatic document feeder with a capacity of up to 50 DIN-A4 sheets prevents jamming, and feeds smoothly a wide variety of documents with different qualities and sizes.
• Features include paper size detection, deskew, cropping, multi feed detection and intelligent thresholding are standard and fully automatic.
• 600dpi optical resolution and electronic colour drop-out for forms processing.
• Supports a wide range of scanning applications with the bundled Kodak-developed TWAIN and ISIS drivers.
• Scan reliably document quantities of up to 1.000 pages per day.

• Equipped with a USB 2.0 interface and cable for convenient Plug and Play installations, whilst for those users who might not have a PC with USB connectivity, a USB 2.0 card is also bundled with the scanners.
